About Us
CAFE PUEBLO's journey began with the joy of sharing the things we love with the people we love: warm conversations, second-to-none coffee, and honest-to-goodness food. We want to use these happy little things to bring people together.
We're all about community, and the people that make it. We believe that we get to know ourselves better through our community, that friendship brings out the best in people, and that our jagged edges are smoothed away by those that can see past them.
We dream of being a place where friends and families can come together and build community over simple, fresh food, and wonderful, wonderful coffee.
We're just getting started on our journey, and our goal at every step is to grow in a way which expresses our care for community with integrity.
Our Mission
We've tried to think carefully about what it means for community to be at the heart of what we're about. We believe that a genuine, intentional care for community should be present at every level of what we do.
So here's a rundown of our efforts so far.
OUR CUSTOMERS ARE OUR TRIBE
Whether you just pop in for the occasional something, or whether you're one of our daily friendly faces, you're our tribe, and you're the whole reason we're here. We want to share our best, from the moment you walk through our door. We welcome everyone, and love the company of muddy boots, muddy paws, clicking cleats, and curious little fingers.
OUR SUPPLIERS ARE OUR NETWORK
Our food has a global vision, but we're working to keep our supply chain local. The majority of what we source comes from our very own High Street, and where we go beyond, we are trying to work with and support wholesalers who share our values regarding sustainability and ethical best practice.
OUR WORLD IS OUR HOME
Caring about community inevitably means caring about our world. We have found this to be a hugely exciting but equally daunting responsibility. From the outset we chose an energy supplier that provides 100% of its electricity from renewable sources; we also use eco friendly disposables and eschew single use plastics. But we really want to go beyond these first-step headline gestures.
