Muddy Stilettos Hampshire calls itself 'The urban guide to the coutryside' and offers an online collection of articles about local events and news, as well as a directly of businesses.
Last year, they launched their annual Awards to celebrate local businesses and today the finalists were announced for 2018. We are absolutely thrilled to report that three members of the Overton Business Association were included in the list, and four further local businesses.
Other local finalists include holistic and beauty therapist, Jo Farrow in the Beauty Salon category; children's cookery classes - Cookery Doodle Doo, run by Katie Black from Laverstoke, in the Children's Businesses category; The Watership Down Inn in Freefolk in the Destination Pub category, and, finally, Hampshire School of Jewellery in the Jewellery Store category, a business run by Laura Groom Llewellyn who has taught regular workshops at The Artizans, here in Overton.
The nominees come from across the whole of Hampshire, so it is a real honour to see businesses from our small village make it to the finals.
Now, importantly, we need to get these local business the actual award. Please support them, sign in and cast your vote here. The voting closes on Friday 18th May at 5.30pm - so there is less than 5 days to cast your vote!
