OBA Annual General Meeting

Thank you to all of those who attended the rearranged AGM last week, on Thursday 8th March.

The meeting was well attended and it was great to hear about the association's progress and successes over the last 12 months, thanks to Alexis Walmsley's chair's report. An interesting discussion was also had about the frequency of meetings for members, as well as the committee, and the benefits of events, networking and social gatherings.

As part of the formal processes of the AGM, Alexis stepped down as Chair of the association and was warmly thanked for all that she has done, particularly in driving forward the Open Overton website. David Grist from H-C Travel also stepped down from his position as treasurer. David has been a long-serving committee member and we are very grateful for the support, commitment and assistance he has provided. Thank you to both Alexis and David again.

The evening also saw the volunteering of new committee members and the new team and their roles will be announced shortly.

Thanks to Ian Williams at The Old House at Home for hosting the AGM this year.

Meeting dates for 2018-2019 will be published in the near future.
