The Overton Business Association are delighted to be holding the Overton Late Night Christmas Shopping event again this year. It will take place on Friday 24th November. The evening will be supported by many of the OBA’s members, including Parnell Jordy and Harvey, The Overton Coffee Shop, The Artizans, Blueberri, Caviste and H-C Travel.
The long-running annual event is always a fun evening for all the family, with carol singers, fairground attractions, mince pies and mulled wine. Many of the village shops and businesses will be holding special events and there’ll be helpful Christmas elves from the Basingstoke and Deane Rotary Club on hand to support all the festivities! Do come along, enjoy some festive cheer and browse the fantastic range of local shops for some early Christmas gift ideas.
It has also been heard on the ‘elf hotline’ that Father Christmas will pay a special visit to Overton again this year. This year, the OBA are offering 120 allocated time slots to come and meet Santa at Overton Community Centre. It remains completely free but there is a new booking system.
Complete the booking form distributed in the November issue of ‘News & Views’ or download a form from www.pjhproperty.co.uk/santa.pdf and return by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop into the Parnell Jordy & Harvey office on Winchester Street. Slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so return your form ASAP!
The Overton Late Night Shopping Event is organised by Overton Business Association, volunteers and gratefully supported by Basingstoke and Deane Rotary Club.
